Durante il TGS 2011, Team Ninja ha annunciato il lancio di Dead or Alive 5. Arriverà nel corso del 2012 per Xbox 360 e Play Statio 3. Il titolo è stato annunciato tramite un interessante trailer video che mostra Ryo Hayabusa durante un combattimento con una nuovissima avversaria del gentil-sesso.
